KAIA-OR / FEATURES

Events that touch you

Worldwide critical events, matched to you

Natural hazards, security incidents such as terrorism, armed violence, unrest and protests, infrastructure and transport disruptions, cyber attacks and outages, and security-relevant economic shocks, worldwide, from official and authoritative sources. Personal matching runs on your device.

SCOPEYou see only the events that touch your saved places, the trips you plan, your devices and software, your organization's sites or the topics you follow. Coverage differs by country and by kind of event, and each item shows its source and when it was published and collected.
Corroboration and confidence you can see

Each event is classified by category, severity, place and time window, corroborated across independent sources and shown with its source, corroboration status and confidence. Unconfirmed reports are labelled as such, and each item links to where it was published.

Events explained, not only flagged

A security ontology describes how places, organizations, software, suppliers and events relate. Semantic reasoning uses it to work out what an event affects and how a situation relates, unfolds and changes, so each match comes with the reason behind it.

Official alerts for your country

Earthquake, severe-weather and flood alerts for the country you choose, each with its original text, its publication and collection times and a link to where it was published, and the freshness of every source shown on screen.

SCOPEKAIA-OR covers natural hazards, security incidents, infrastructure and transport disruptions, cyber events and security-relevant economic shocks worldwide, from official and authoritative sources corroborated across independent sources, and shows the ones that touch your places, your travel, your devices and software, or your organization's sites. Coverage differs by country and by kind of event: it depends on what official and authoritative sources publish, and reports that cannot be corroborated are labelled as unconfirmed. Country alerts, by country: the United States, earthquakes, severe weather and floods; Canada, earthquakes and severe weather; the United Kingdom, earthquakes, and floods in England; Türkiye and Israel, earthquakes. Official travel advisories cover destinations worldwide. Every item keeps its original text, its publication and collection times and a link to where it was published, so you can see how fresh it is.
Situation atlas

Search and filter your country's published records by evidence state (current, uncertain, withdrawn or expired), by event type and by the publisher's own severity. Each result shows the original text, its dates and a link to the source.

SCOPECovers the official sources KAIA-OR uses for your country.
Country briefing and situation overview

A briefing for your country in three steps you review first: how fresh each source is, published observations ordered by the publisher's own severity, and hazard coverage. A situation overview refreshes while you have it open and shows what changed since you opened it. It uses only information already on your device.

SCOPEBuilt from public, country-level information.
Natural-event catalog

Browse the natural events recorded for your country, each with its original category, status, observation times and history, and a link to the original record. The catalog is shown separately from official warnings.

Civil-protection and national emergency warnings

National emergency and civil-protection warnings for the United States and Canada, shown with the original text and a link to the source.

Tsunami, volcano, disaster and health travel notices

Tsunami messages, volcano notices, international disaster alerts and health travel notices from official publishers, each with its source.

Around me

Around me

When you start it, KAIA-OR takes one fresh position from your device and shows published official events within 1 km: definite matches, matches within the accuracy margin, events with unknown geometry, and events outside. Open the original text and source. Your position stays on your device and is cleared when you stop.

SCOPEAround me shows published events within 1 km of your position.

Your places and alerts

Saved places

Save up to eight places (home, workplace or travel destination), each with a radius from 100 m to 10 km. A travel-destination place ends within 30 days. Edit, pause or delete any place, or erase them all. Places are encrypted on your device with a passphrase that stays on your device.

SCOPESaved places are fixed areas you enter, and they are your own, separate from the sites your organization adds to its shared picture. They are not live location or route tracking.
Impact check with the evidence behind it

Each enabled place is compared with the areas of published official events, including events across borders and offshore. Each place shows Current published geometry matches, Geometry needs review, No current geometry match, Evidence needs attention, Evaluation paused, Travel period ended or Device time needs correction, with Why this assessment. Download an evaluation receipt that leaves out place names and coordinates.

SCOPEMissing or uncertain geometry never counts as a match or as safety.
Watch and notices

KAIA-OR re-checks your enabled places and shows each new match. Choose Ask for approval, Review then notify or Notify automatically. Device notifications never name the place or the event.

Event discovery

Reports of the same event from different sources, grouped together, with the relevance to your places explained.

Impact-based relevance

Events ranked by their expected impact on your places, with an explanation of why each one appears.

Your own alerts

Alerts for your own places, trips, devices and sites, with alert rules and quiet hours you set. Notifications never name the place or the event.

Messages, links and devices

Message check

Paste a message you received and say where it came from (a messaging app, e-mail, or Other for a text message). You see what looks wrong, such as a request for sign-in details, a demand for money or a link address, when the check can't tell, and a suggested next step, such as confirming the sender through a channel you already trust. It recognizes warning signs in English, French, Turkish and Hebrew. The check runs on your device.

SCOPEKAIA-OR works only on the text you paste, leaves links and attachments unopened, and leaves the decision with you.
Link check

Paste one link. KAIA-OR reads the address without opening it and points out what deserves a closer look: no HTTPS, an IP address in place of a domain name, sign-in details hidden in the address, or a nonstandard port.

SCOPEThe check reads the address itself, and you decide whether to open the link.
Your social media accounts

For your own social media accounts: an account-takeover message check, a look-alike link and domain check, a security checklist with reminders, recovery steps, and a review of a data export you download yourself. KAIA-OR never asks for your sign-in details. It works only with what you show it on your device.

Exploited-vulnerability catalog

Search known exploited software vulnerabilities by identifier or keyword and see whether ransomware use has been reported, each record with its original text and dates. Searches run on your device.

Your devices' exposure

Known exploited vulnerabilities shown only when they apply to a device you own, with the official fix.

Device security status

See the protection facts your device's operating system reports, such as antivirus and firewall health on Windows, and the screen lock and security patch date on Android.

File and spyware risk indicators

Risk indicators for a file you choose and for signs of spyware, with a clear statement of what the checks can and cannot see on each platform. Indicators, not verdicts: the decision stays with you.

Protected browsing and documents

A separate add-on: open an untrusted link or document in an isolated session, away from your device.

Official cyber advisories

Official cyber security advisories, shown when they concern the products you use.

KAIA-OR / FEATURES

Hey KAIA and AI you can check

Hey KAIA, by voice or text

Say Hey KAIA or type a question in English, French, Turkish or Hebrew, and ask what an event, a message or a change in a travel advisory means for you. Answers are worked out on your device first and cite their evidence. On hazards, Hey KAIA relays the publisher's own guidance.

Answers from published sources

Ask about your country's published situation, worldwide events or travel advisories. By default, KAIA shows the checks it plans and waits for your approval, then answers with fact cards that link to the original sources.

Answers checked against the evidence

Neurosymbolic reasoning checks each AI answer against the evidence before you see it, so an answer cites what it rests on or says that it can't tell. Model output grants no access, permissions or authority.

Scanning agents within the limits you set

Bounded scanning agents look for what is new about the places, trips, software and suppliers you follow. They work only within the limits you set and with your authorization, and every result shows its evidence.

Voice questions and spoken summaries

Dictate a question as an editable draft that you review and send yourself, and have the answer summary read aloud. Speech is handled on your device, and KAIA keeps no audio.

An assistant that informs; you decide

KAIA's answers inform your decisions. Access, permissions and actions stay under your control, and the assistant is designed to resist manipulation, including instructions hidden in the content it reads.

Your consent, and only yours

Your personal data reaches a third-party AI service only when you opt in yourself, feature by feature, and only you can give that consent. Government organizations start with cloud AI off.

Organization control of cloud AI

An organization can turn cloud AI features off in its workspace. The control only restricts: it never turns cloud AI on for a member and never overrides a member's own choice.

Check your own device's access

Ask KAIA to read the account-access details of one of your own registered devices: platform, version, active access and last connection. You approve the read first, and nothing on the device changes.

KAIA-OR / FEATURES

Families, teams and organizations

Sign-in

Each person signs in with a passkey and an authenticator app. KAIA-OR never sends sign-in codes by text message.

Authenticator-app second step

The second sign-in step uses an authenticator app, and a device you remove loses its access everywhere.

Passkeys and authenticator sign-in

Every account signs in with a passkey together with an authenticator app. KAIA-OR never sends sign-in codes by text message.

Personal, family and organization spaces

Personal, family and organization spaces. Whoever creates a space becomes its Owner, one sign-in can belong to up to 10 spaces, and KAIA-OR shows the pages that fit the space and the role.

Family space

A family has two roles, Owner and Member. The Owner invites an adult who already has a KAIA-OR account with a one-time invitation that works only for that account and expires after 24 hours, and can revoke invitations and remove members. Each member's places, messages, devices and location stay their own.

Organization roles and invitations

Three roles: Owner, Administrator and Member. The Owner or an Administrator invites colleagues with one-time invitations bound to one account, each shown once and expiring after 24 hours; only the Owner can invite an Administrator. The Owner promotes and demotes between Member and Administrator, and every permission change asks for confirmation.

Access reviews

The Owner records a dated review that confirms the current members and roles at that moment. Later membership changes mark earlier reviews as outdated. Reviews are kept for 90 days, up to 20 at a time, and Owners and Administrators can download them.

SCOPEAn access review records the Owner's own confirmation at a point in time.
What managers see

Owners and Administrators see account IDs, roles, join dates, invitations and access-review records. Each person's messages, devices, location, saved places and settings stay with that person.

Audit records you can keep

Each access review records the member count, the reviewer and the time, and downloads as a file for your organization's records.

Permission activity

Owners and Administrators see who changed what, and when, by account ID: invitations, joins, role changes, removals and reviews. Entries leave out message content, names and e-mail addresses.

Member directory

Owners and Administrators browse the organization's current members, 25 at a time, by account ID, role and join date.

My devices

Review your own registered devices: name, platform, version, last connection and whether access is active. Only you see your devices.

Remove a device's access

Remove a lost or replaced device's access to your account after a confirmation step. The device keeps its own local data.

Account deletion

Delete your account after a fresh authenticator check. The Owner of a shared space first hands it to another member or closes it, and you can follow the deletion's status.

Opt-in device sharing

A member can choose to share their device security status with their family's Owner or their organization's Administrators, and can stop sharing at any time.

Organization single sign-on

Members sign in through the organization's own identity provider.

Membership removal through SCIM

When your directory deactivates or deletes a person, SCIM removes their organization membership. Their own account stays theirs.

Custom roles

Beside Owner, Administrator and Member, organizations define their own roles, each with only the permissions it needs.

Audit log export

An organization audit log that you export to your own security tools.

Organization cyber posture

A summary of the organization's device security, built only from what members choose to share.

KAIA-OR / FEATURES

Privacy by architecture

Member privacy rules

Every person's messages, devices, location and saved places stay their own, in every family and organization they belong to.

Membership and access

A family or organization role manages invitations, roles and reviews; membership never grants access to another person's messages, devices, location or saved places.

Location and sensitive data

Your exact location and sensitive data stay on your device by default. Choosing a country works without your location.

How checks are handled

Messages and links you check stay in memory on your device and are cleared when you close the check. On the web, Around me and the messages and links you check are cleared when you hide the page. Device notifications leave out the place and the event.

Permissions, read-only

See, in a read-only view, whether KAIA-OR may use location, the microphone and notifications on your device.

Topic preferences

Opt-in topic preferences are kept as encrypted usage counts on your device.

Where organization data is held

An organization chooses the region where its organization data is held.
