Spaces and roles

Whoever creates the organization space becomes its Owner. There are three roles: Owner, Administrator and Member. The Owner promotes and demotes between Member and Administrator and removes Administrators and Members; Administrators remove Members. Every permission change asks for confirmation.

Invitations

The Owner or an Administrator invites colleagues with one-time invitations bound to one account. Each is shown once and expires after 24 hours, and only the Owner can invite an Administrator. You share each invitation through a channel you trust, and pending invitations can be revoked.

Access reviews

The Owner records a dated review that confirms the current members and roles at that moment. Later membership changes mark earlier reviews as outdated. Reviews are kept for 90 days, up to 20 at a time, and Owners and Administrators can download them.

Permission activity

Owners and Administrators see who changed what, and when: invitations, joins, role changes, removals and reviews. Entries leave out message content, names and e-mail addresses.

Sign-in

Every member signs in to KAIA-OR with their e-mail address, a password of at least 16 characters and two-step verification with an authenticator app. The Owner and Administrators manage roles in KAIA-OR.

Single sign-on

Members can sign in through the organization's own identity provider.
